…is the first Native project outside of the borough of Rutherford, residing in beautiful Beach Haven, a town within Long Beach Island township. On the first floor is a surf shop dedicated to the DIY business Le Garage run by Greg Melega, a great friend and mentor. Le Garage provides the service of custom surfboards and exceptional surf and wellness lessons. The entire process is done on-site, which includes the shaping, glassing, and finishing of home-made surf boards. The rest of the process is in the ocean. Above Le Garage is is a newly-renovated residental unit that has recently been outfitted with elegant and modern furniture, while maintaining it’s original beach and bay warmth. The renovated deck brings new life and a mysterious element to the building, asking to be explored and experienced.
